I am a real brunch enthusiast so I make a point of trying a new brunch restaurant every time I am in Victoria. And I must say, the city is thriving with excellent options that can definitely compete with Vancouver’s hottest brunch spots.

Blue Fox Café – the iconic one

If you are looking for an authentic and tasty North American brunch, Blue Fox Café is one of the best options out there. This colorful and vibrant café has a nice homey atmosphere. Portions are hearty and prices are very reasonable, which makes it one of the most popular cafés in town. Just a heads-up: they do not accept reservations so be ready to wait!

Jam Café is my favorite brunch spot in Vancouver and I am glad they have a location in Victoria. It is not as fancy as OEB, Yolks or Chambar, but it is by far a more authentic North American experience. I love their warm and cozy atmosphere as well as their non-fussy approach to brunch. Their menu features a lot of sweet and savory options, so whatever mood you are in, you will be able to satisfy your craving.
