It’s time to warm up our bodies and souls: the 12th edition of the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival has just begun!
From January 15th to February 14th, 44 cafés, pastry shops, chocolatiers and ice cream parlors will offer hand-crafted chocolate drinks in Greater Vancouver. During that limited time, you will be able to sample over 100 original recipes, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. You can find the full list of participating vendors here.

BEL CAFE (# 11 Peanut Butter Cup) A blend of hot chocolate and peanut butter. Served with a caramel macaron.
49TH PARALLEL COFFEE ROASTERS (#01 Cocoa Pop) Caramel popcorn hot chocolate made with 66% dark chocolate and a house-made buttery, salted caramel sauce. Served with a mini brioche doughnut filled with a buttery corn custard topped with salted caramel and caramel corn.
BEAUCOUP BAKERY (#09 Smooth Like Butter) Inspired by the popular Korean “Honey Butter Potato Chip” snack, this hot chocolate features caramelized honey butter sauce blended into Valrhona Dulcey 35% blond chocolate. Served with potato chips flavored with caramelized cultured butter and locally sourced honey.
THOMAS HAAS CHOCOLATES (#104 Cherry Nutters) Dark hot chocolate with hints of cherry & a pistachio marshmallow. Served with a pistachio and cherry financier.
LA GLACE ICE CREAM (#72 Saffron Nougatine) Saffron-infused, burnt honey, white hot chocolate with a hint of orange blossom. Served with a pistachio meringue rosette.
